Now, this time I was out on the rooftop (Time 7pm), pleasantly gazing at the night sky with prominent Orion on the west with gibbous moon over Zenith. The entire landscape was glowing white with moon light (\u099c\u09cd\u09af\u09cb\u09ce\u09b8\u09cd\u09a8\u09be), very peaceful.<\/p>\n

Quickly, i looked for an app that enables me to shoot RAW images from my phone. Then, putting the phone on a plastic display stand (which I purchased for \u20b915 from Kalyani Simanta local) .. took some 90 Light frames (10s ISO 500 F\/1.79 4.74mm \u267e\ufe0f).
After its done, I went to my father who was sitting downstairs, and took his black shirt (which he was wearing \ud83d\ude05).. put my phone inside it wrapped it properly and put that in a dark place on the roof. Took 40 Darks(essential to capture thermal noise) and 40 biases(essential to capture electronic noise) in this way. The time was 8.40 PM.<\/p>\n

Taking Flat frames was tricky.
One of the essential factor is ensuring uniform illumination throughout the camera field. In order to achieve this, i started looking for diffusers.. prime candidates were A4 sheets and my baniyan (\u09b8\u09cd\u09af\u09be\u09a8\u09cd\u09a1\u09cb \u0997\u09c7\u099e\u09cd\u099c\u09bf \ud83d\ude02). Took my grandmother’s torch and started experimenting with optics and fabrics. After few failed attempts, got an idea,.. took my mother’s phone and opened a full white image (in maximum brightness), put the paper on top..and yes got it!<\/p>\n

Then comes, the next step. We have to adjust the shutter speed (with ISO 500 fixed) such that the RGB peak lies between \u2153-\u00bd from the left of histogram. After trial and error.. found the sweet spot at 1\/60 s. Took 25 frames. This frames are essential to capture vignetting (dark regions around the corners of image ) and dust spots on lens, which needs to be subtracted from Lights frames. And done, it was 9.30 PM.<\/p>\n

Then took the frames on my laptop and began processing and stacking on Siril. Had dinner and began post processing(Deconvolution , Histogram Transformation, Removing Green Noise and Background extraction) and after some tweaking on Snapseed… Final picture ready! \ud83e\udd29\ud83e\udd73
